Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God  -Psalms

Welcome to Flyers Riding Stables, located in Owasso, OK.  Founded in June 2001, our vision is to provide a safe environment to learn more about God’s wonderful animal, the horse of course.

Private riding lessons are available.  We use a number of different materials to help students progress through the different levels of horsemanship, by incorporating the essentials of ground work into our riding lessons.  Students will learn more than just how to sit on a horse, they will become comfortable and confident around them. We also help prepare those interested in owning their own horses someday reach their goal of horse ownership.  For current or new horse owners we offer consulting/training services.

We have some exciting field trips already scheduled for this year, check out our events page to see them and everything else we are doing at Flyers Riding Stables this year!

Our exciting Horses 101 classes have been created for students interested in learning all about horses.  Each year we learn something new about horses.  This year we will explore basic horse knowledge.

For those of you short on time we also have a Horses 101 Mini Class available which takes  less than two hours to complete.  Each child will be led while riding one of our horses.  This class is great for small homeschool groups.

We have field trips and special events for all to participate in; providing the opportunity to go to a variety of horse shows and events.  We will be starting the year off right with some new and exciting field trips planned early in the year.

Wondering where the name “Flyers” came from?  Growing up around horses, we spent many a day riding.  One of my favorite things to do was ride Trixie.  Sometimes, as she was running like the wind, I would lean over her mane and reach my arms out, like the girl in the logo.  It felt like I was flying; just the horse and I in the world.  Time stood still.  I know there are kids as well as adults out there that want to experience and learn more about the great and wonderful animal, the horse of course.
